The opportunity is designed to strengthen Tribal and community-led efforts in commercial tobacco prevention, while supporting cultural relevance, youth leadership, and community engagement.

The funding opportunity aims to uplift Indigenous voices, honor cultural traditions, and invest in the next generation of leaders committed to commercial tobacco-free futures.

We are now accepting applications at the link below.

Three $1,500 Awards Available

This opportunity provides funding to support a local adult coordinator and Tribal youth participant in attending and participating in TCCC's in-person Tribal Youth Quest event on March 22, 2026, in Sacramento, California. The goal of the event is to promote youth leadership, peer learning, and deeper engagement in local commercial tobacco prevention efforts.

This opportunity is ideal for organizations committed to mentoring youth leaders, building community capacity, and reducing tobacco-related harm in Tribal communities.

Applications will be evaluated based on:
  • A clear commitment to youth leadership and commercial tobacco prevention.
  • Ability to coordinate participation at an in-person event.
  • Plans for engaging young people and the broader community in local tobacco work.
