### *Promoting Health Among Teens! Comprehensive Abstinence *

The 12-module curriculum:

- Teaches young teens about puberty, sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV, and pregnancy prevention, and makes them aware of how choices about their sexual behavior can affect their health
- Lively, interactive activities include talking circles, brainstorming, role plays, DVDs, exercises and games that make learning enjoyable
- Designed to give teens the information and skills they need to negotiate and practice abstinence and to use condoms correctly when they become sexually active
- Meets the Office of Adolescent Health's effectiveness criteria for impacting rates of teen pregnancy, STDs or sexual risk behaviors
