Promoting Health Among Teens! Abstinence Only

The 8-module curriculum:

• Teaches about puberty, sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV, and pregnancy prevention
• Lively, interactive activities include talking circles, brainstorming, role plays, DVDs, exercises and games that make learning enjoyable
• Focuses entirely on knowledge, attitudes and skills that encourage and assist young people in implementing abstinence in their relationships, and does not include condom use instruction
• Meets the Office of Adolescent Health's effectiveness criteria for impacting rates of teen pregnancy, STDs or sexual risk behaviors
