HealthSmart is a K–12, skills-based health education curriculum designed to empower students to make healthy choices. The program offers lessons that present essential health concepts and give students opportunities to practice vital health skills, which supports healthy behavior outcomes both now and in the future.
There have been significant updates for both print and digital HealthSmart users:
The digital platform now features updated navigation tabs, including enhanced program and lesson overviews.
Skills-based lessons are now clearly labeled with icons to identify the specific skills addressed.
K-5 lessons include an expanded materials and preparation section, a comprehensive list of health terms, and tips to support diverse learners.
