Becoming a Responsible Teen: An HIV Risk-Reduction Program for Adolescents 

BART is a nationally acclaimed evidence-based program for sexual health among teens in grades 9-12.

• Gives teens skills to delay sexual involvement and reduce their exposure to HIV/AIDS
• Was named a Best-Evidence Intervention by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
• Meets the Office of Adolescent Health's effectiveness criteria for impacting rates of teen pregnancy, STDs or sexual risk behaviors
  Features activities that focus on creative problem solving and extending learning beyond the classroom
• Provides latest HIV terminology and statistics, including information on the HIV rapid test; new videos that make content more relevant to today's youth; recommended teaching time for each activity; new content on the risk of overlapping partners; and a new activity that features stories of young people who need to make decisions about safer sex
